driveshaft replacement ?



replaced the pass. side ball joint and shaft today. the replacement shaft 
that i got from euclid foreign had a different nut on the end though. the 
original had a nut then a cotterpin to further secure it from loosening, but 
the replacement had no/ not made to use a cotterpin. after driving about 50 
freeway miles i rechecked and the nut had started to come loose. has anyone 
else run into this problem after replacing a shaft? if so what was your 
solution? i'm thinking of either a lil' locktight or trying to rig some kind 
of cotterpin set-up. tia
