Review: US H4 Eurolite Conversion Kit

Interesting thread, PB.
I bought four H4-bulbed head lights ( 4 x 6 quad ) from (ahem...) JCWhitney.
Cost $15.95 each, on sale. Came with 80/100W no-name bulbs. Lenses had
improperly-placed locating tabs and would not fit in stock frames at all.
Some work with a hacksaw took care of the problem. The no-name bulbs lasted
about 3 hours running time. Replaced them with Philips 90/100W H4's and
they work fine.
I'd rate them a 4 out of possible 10, because of the modifications required
to fit them and the fact that not being Hella's or Cibie's makes them
something of an embarrassment. (maybe that's why I tinted them.....?)
(When I find an extra $175, I'll get some Hella's...)
