I'm looking forward to as much "forced air flow" as possible. What ever
higher pressure that is available from a ram air set up should simply
augment the pulse effect. It'll change the performance of the motor for
sure, but in a positive way. Think of a turbocharger's effect. There's no
way that hurts performance even though the induction physics are
changed. -quite the contrary, of course.
P.S. I'm heading up to the shop today. I'll measure the distance from the
throttle plates to the end of the velocity stacks. Mike is right, though. We
have no lattitude as far as how long we can make these things. The bottom of
the hood is the limiting factor.
