(ot)is it possible to have reverse karma?

  alright, so you all know my past "history", every time i do some "good" 
something bad happens. well, today i put a weitec 40mm kit on a 2000 gti vr6 
for free because the guy who owns the car has no idea what he's doing (his 
words, not mine). btw- suspension on a 2000 gti is cake! anyways, i did his 
suspension and cooked him dinner as that we had a lil' cookout at the shop 
and i asked him to say and eat. so you know what that means! driving home 
tonight, half lite, from a local bar my ball joint just goes, seperating the 
driveshaft from the hub and leaving my tire bent out in an unnatural 
position. no warning, no creaking, no funny turning problems, no nothing 
that would have warned me that i had a bad ball joint. just a lil' twitch in 
the wheel and then the sound of a "locked up tire". good thing i wasn't on 
the freeway! so i ask you, is it possible that i have reverse karma? maybe i 
should just be a prick to everyone the rest of my life and maybe then my 
luck will change!
