Says who thet JH's cant hit 8000 Rpm ... :D

hey guys ..
i got really bored today ( err i mean i couldnt sleep and i had to do =
somethin ... :P )
so i thought off how can i make some sort of a cheap fuel enricment =
device for really really cheap ..
List of parts that i had to work with :
1 30 AMP relay=20
2 fuses and about 40ft. of wires ..
and this is what i came up with ...
using the WOT switch turn on the CSV ( Cold Start Valve )
after a bit o thiking i can still use the CSV when the engine is cold =
and at WOT !!!
after that i took a alen wrench and adjusted my A/F ratio ... now its =
stich at idle and stoichat part throtle under load and 1 or 2 led's on =
the rich side at WOT ..
can u say almost perfect fueling ... :P
ohh yeah ..
perfect idle .( no more hunting ...) and when reved goes past the 7000 =
rpm mark by almost a INCH !!=20
all i can say is that i love this thing ..
But i still want the PG thats waiting for me at Daun's
i can't wait for that ... next weekend Digi1 is going in :D
with a bit of creative wiring i might add :D
what can i say .. im jack of all trades=20
i just wanted to share this happy moment ...
as for all those with hunting idle ...
Clean your TB and adjust the A/F ratio till the frquecy valve stops =
buzzing ( pretty much from what i saw i hit the 1dt led into stoich at =
idle ...) then it all just gets a bit richer and richer .. BTW go very =
slow .. i had to turn mine about 1/2 turn counter clock wise till i hit =
the 5th led into stoich=20
who needs a bentley anyway ... ( i would never would have use for one )
VW's engineering in these old cars are very simlple and straight forward =
...
i can fix any pre 88 on the side on the road with the basic tools ...
LOL i remeber in europe when me anf my dad changed the headgasket on the =
side of the road on our 81S
it took us about 35 min to R&R the headgasket and have the engine =
running ( might i add the 1.6L 8V wit a solex Carb )
figer that one out .. :P
