where can I buy a straight pipe?

these and then rap a catalytic converter shell around it. That way you can

No - this is not for my crack habit... :)
I guess a lot of you call it a "test" pipe? Basically a hollow tube that
can bolted in place of the cat on A1's. I realize I could probably have one
fab'd, but I'd bet a manufactured one would function better (especially from
an installation standpoint).
I used to have one from Ansa back in the day, but I can't seem to find
anything for VWs from them anymore (not that I've looked terribly hard...)
