Sunroof cable service questions

ok, after having done the exact same thing recently, I can confidently say
DO NOT use regular oil. Don't use lithium grease either, it gums up in cold
weather, it does work great in FL summers though. However, you should use
silicone spray.

Have fun. (I'd go ahead and rebend the rain tray guides while you've got
everything apart.)

Subject: Sunroof cable service questions

OK, so I've been away from the list for a few years. I'm back checking out
the action.

I'm in the midst of doing a sunroof service. I have finally gotten tired of
the rough sliding roof as well as the associated rattles.

I've got the entire assembly removed and cleaned (degreased). I've got a
question on which kind of grease to use on the cables. I'd like to know what
the factory recommends for lubrication as opposed what people happen to
THINK might work.

Thanks
Diamond Dave
