  Subject: CV shaft still spins when in gear?

  Today I was removing the CV shafts from my car, alone. When in gear I =
was able to stop the drivers side shaft from moving, and was able to =
loosen the six 12pt bolts. I then removed the shaft, and went on to the =
passenger side. Now when I put it in gear the shaft still spins freely. =
 Is this because I removed the other shaft, or is my trans have a =
problem?  Thanks for any replys-

  Rob=20
