mixing shock brands?

Jeff, there is nothing wrong with mixing and matching so long as the =
same dampers are used from side to side. The damping rates should be at =
least fairly similar, though. For instance, I've got Bilstein Sports in =
the front of my car and Koni Yellow adjustables in the back.

I've seen a few instances where some have mixed shock brands (koni =
fronts w/ Bilstein rear or Bilstein fronts w. Boge TGas Rear)..
is this advisable? I find it hard to believe that there could be any =
benefit to this...other than cost...
