911/924 Porsche seats??

It's been done in Germany .. and I have a set of 993 seats I want to put in 
mine.

The thing is, the crossmember that holds the bracket for the slider of the 
old seats is in the way .. or at least the bracket if you want to mount the 
seat higher.

I plan on just taking that bar out and bolting the seat to the floow or 
something very close to that.
