Dan, Try taking off the air tube between the throttle body and the air box.
This should allow you to slip it in length wise without too much difficulty.
"Does anyone make a chip for my car?" simple answer is no, if it's still got
the CIS-E. If you switched it up to Motronic then you could "chip it". There
is a full throttle enrichment module out there for CIS-E but it only works
at full throttle. "Preferably one that does not require 92 octane" Well your
car requires the higher octane not because of the injection system but due
to the compression ratio. That performance (no performance for that matter)
is cheap. "Anyone know where I can get a Jamex filter setup?" not me. "I
found some Jamex springs on Ebay that are in Germany. First, are Jamex
springs decent and second, could someone please tell me if these will fit my
scirocco?" no idea. "One more thing, is there anyone on this list from
Poughkeepsie, NY or nearby? I've seen about 5-6 Sciroccos around and was
wondering if any where here". I'm an hour East of you and there are two
others here. You could have seen any one of us in Skipski.
