jacking points?

Well when I first got my rocco I knew that I needed to put the jack
stands under the circle mounting points by the wheel wells but didn't
know where to jack it up from, at first I just did it a little farther
back from the circles but this started to crush the underside of my
rocko (nothing visible from outside the car but annoying), I've found
that jacking it up where the front sway bar mounts works and leaves room
to get a jack stand under the circles.  As for the back I jack it up
righ in the center of the rear axel.  Then I put stands on both sides of
the axel, this has worked very well for me and hasn't damaged anything.
Somebody might say that I jack it up in stupid spots but I jack my car
up almost every Saturday and haven't had a problem for the last year
that I've been doing this.  I also wonder if jacking it up on the plate
that holds the rear mount would work so that you don't have to jack it
up on each side for the front???  Has anybody done this?

ok, i know i sound like a moron, but please bear with me.

i've never actually jacked a car up to put up on axle stands and im not
really sure where the jacking points are on the roc.

i only have a haynes manual...and well its not too specific.

when looking under the car i see two spots where it looks to have been
jacked up before (scraped off undercoat, dents, scraped off paint) on
what appear to be  the frame rails. is this an ok place to  jack it up
from? (if not, too late, as it looks like its been done)

also, if i use the trolley jack on one side, prop it up on the stand,
and go around to the other side, isnt it really risky to have only one
side proped up? how should i do this?
