How important is vaccum?



Kinda sketchy with the details there. If it's a street car and subject to
emissions I wouldn't do away with the charcoal canister. However if you're
racing it then by all means off it. That package of grenades holds a reserve
of vac for the climate controls. If you remove it and change the climate
settings either they will not work of the idle will go funky. On the other
hand if your racing it and don't care to have a defroster then off that too.
Basically it has to do with your intended purpose. Purpose of use and
purpose of removal. Personally I can't see any reason not to use those
items. Removing them will do almost nothing for weight savings and the
engineers who designed that car were paid a great deal of money not to
install things that were not needed.
