16v body kit

I found a 16v Rocco in a junkyard, and I was wondering how you remove the 
body kit.  I got the screws out but I couldnt figure out how to remove the 
rest of the kit without messing it up.  I know there is a moulding glue or 
tape or something behind the kit but I cant figure out exactly how to pull 
it without trashing the kit.  Thanks for any information you may have!
