Updgrading engine power..
At the very least, replace your exhaust manifold/downpipe with the dual-outlet
style and cat back exhaust. Add a G-grind cam, larger A2 throttle body, and K&N
filter and you should be pleased with the results. A euro curve distributor
will allow for more initial advance. While not a "monster", the setup is fun.
Should be around 110hp.
Drop in the 2.0L 8V block from the 1988 to 1992 Audi 80 - code 3A. Should be
around 130hp vs 90hp stock.
Here's info on the 3A swap:

Subject: Updgrading engine power..
Wondering how I can get some more power out of my 1.8 8v when I rebuild. I was
thinking of getting an ABA block. How much horsepower can expect to see when
that block on the 1.8 head? Any other ideas I saw some 2.0l kits (crank and
pistons) as well from autotech any suggestions? Thanks!
