Hey, give john a break :-)

He's right in pointing out that some muni's provide filtering and removal of
antifreeze and other "household" substances.

I called my local water utility and the EPA, and they both said that such
contaminants are removed in the sewage treatment process.

Now, I don't do it because I drop off all my old fluids at a local approved
collection center, but John's correct in his general advice.
