I find that extemely hard to believe.  I'd love to see some pics of a
Vanagon Syncro rock crawling...ha!  When I say off road, I mean serious
off road, not in the SUV sense (ie, a rough dirt road).  Think of the
world of 31 inch tires, 5 inches of lift or more, etc.

I'm sorry, a Vanagon was never designed for the rigors of true offroading.
Now, if your statement was talking about Unimogs, I'd have to agree...but
a Vanagon? HEHEHEHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
