Interest in a Samco Hose kits for 16V's
Well Scott I am not sure exactly, that why I directed you and other readers
to the web address so you could make your own decision. They state they are
designed for higher operating temp but other than that I like the looks of
them in the different colors that are available. I do know that when I
rebuild and engine that I like all fresh hoses (as any good builder would).
And when you compare the prices of the oem replacement hoses the price is
comparable, last I checked the upper radiator hose on the 16v went for $80+.
Well if I am going to outfit the car and make it pretty under the hood to
show it why not have the availability to have some color other than the
standard black rubber hoses. And if you read the full statement the $220 was
an example of a list price and that a price is currently not available,
could be more or less on a group buy depends on the volume of interest that
can be generated.
And since finding companies that like to work with older cars and
enthusiasts is not always easy, I thought I would try and generate some
group interest.
And as for the hooker part, spill some beer on your hand that way when you
wack it you can say you got a sloppy drunk for free (for actually the cost
of the beer). :)
