I remember someone explaining how to make a DIY version of these, was anyone actually paying attention? I would like to do this if its possible, without adversely affecting light output



-Sometime ago the was a conversation about lights and mods for them. Someone 
mentioned making a light the was blacked out when not illuminated and the 
listed kicked around some idea how to do this. Well Hella has introduced a 
line of lights called "black Magic" which do just what someone one the list 
wanted, Now Hella just needs to make rectangle ones.-
