I don't really want to sell my Scirocco, but a very nice '81S has come
up for sale in my neck of the woods. Since I can't realistically have
four cars, I have to sell one. No one would waste their time with my
daily driver Audi, and the Quantum Syncro Turbo isn't for sale (yet).
That leaves trading one Scirocco for another. My car is a Perl Metallic
(gold) '79. It has a minor ding in the front driver's corner due to
some inattentiveness on my part, but the rest of the body is very solid.
It was a Pacific Northwest car for much of it's life.
Specs:
1.8 16V swap w/ complete GTI 16V wiring harness
Pro-built half-cage (no roof or a-pillar bars)
Sparco Pro2000 driver's seat
Willans harness (too old to be SCCA legal)
4k trans w/Quaife
Delrin bushings front and rear
Rear disk conversion
Power steering conversion
Koni Sports w/ BSI coilover kit
more that I can't remember now.
I'd be willing to sell the car minus some parts (replaced with standard
items of course), but I'm absolutely not selling any parts off the car.
Because the package could change drastically with inclusion/exclusion of
various items, I'm not talking price here. If you think you might be

ton of photos and documentation of the motor install)
