OK,
Kervin came by a while back to loan me a deep well 13mm and noticed some of
my vacuum lines had come undone. When the car started stalling every time I
pushed in the clutch I figured I better check it out. Well, everything has
been reconnected with new hose, and we raised the idle speed to 1k RPM. The
drive home was fine, but then the next day it started again. One of the
connectors wasn't gripping the hose snuggly so I switched that one out too
and let the car run about 20 minutes, revving and letting it drop with no
problem........Well, it's now 3 days later and it's doing it all again. I've
checked all the connections and they're tight. Some times it recovers and
idles at about 750, roughly, other times it just drops and dies. It seems to
get worse the warmer the engine is.
Any ideas? I'm clueless.....
