I need to know what thickness the head gasket is when it's compressed.
I'm using a 2.0 16V gasket on my 2.0 ABA/JH swap that measures 2.0mm
thick uncompressed.
The other numbers I got were:
head combustion chamber volume: 25.5 cc (shaved .035" - .040")
deck volume (piston TDC) : 17.75 cc (2.0 ABA block, stock)
Bore: 83mm
Stroke: 92mm
Some calculations I got were:
With 2.0mm gasket: 10.2:1
1.75mm gasket: 10.44:1
1.50mm gasket: 10.7:1
1.0mm gasket: 11.2:1
Seems too low for the amount I ended up getting shaved off the head...
Thanks!
Mark. (making sure I don't have a 18:1 compression ratio!)
