ACK! Pistons reversed!



Don't worry about ring end-gaps lining up.
 Rings rotate randomly as the engine runs, which means that every so often
the end gaps line up during normal use.
(unless they are stuck in the lands, in which case you have more to worry
about than end gaps....)  They soon rotate out of alignment without you ever
knowing that this evil confluence has occured.
Just pull the rod/piston assembly out, spin 'em 180, and reinstall.
