Dynomat works, but you must be very meticulous about installing. Thoroughly 
degrease the area with acetone or similar solvent, and use a roller and heat 
gun for best results.

Frankly- for the hassle and expense- you'll be much better off buying a

The roofing underlayment sold at most home improvent stores STINKS- think 
(more than) twice before you go that route...
