Exhaust and Supertrapp Q's

Recently I have been looking into a new exhaust system
I have been thinking a Techtonics system but today day
I was talking to my auto shop teacher and he was
talking about running a straight pipe to a supertrapp.
I was wondering if any one has any experience with
this type of setup. Any info would be appreciated.
