new purchase questions

If you are changing all belts, you had better change the seals on that side of the engine. All 3 are the same, camshaft, crank, and intermediate shaft. All of which can be done in 10 more minutes if you already have all belts off.

  I'm purchasing an '87 16V, tornado red, pretty nice condition for $1100. I think its a good deal, and I was wondering if there are some things that need to be done. 

  I'm having the timing belt and tensioner replaced, all other belts checked and replaced, same with hoses, etc. I guess I just want to know if there's anything else unique to these cars I should know about.
