Couple Questions - Long
As John mentioned, your problem is probably due to the fact that you've got
wide snow tires. Weight can also be a factor but width is more important. A
much more effective choice for you would be a 165/80/13 on stock Mk1 wheels
(for example)!
Wide tires are as bad on the snow as skinny ones are on dry pavement.
