clutch pushrod bushing Q

Hi everyone, 

I am trying to install the clutch pushrod busing.  Its
the brass thing that goes into the mainshaft of the
tranny.  Awhile back I read in eurocar you can use a
tap to thead it than pull it using a socked and a
bolt.  Does anyone know what size tap to use.  (I dug
through the boxes of old eurocars and I can't find it)
 Aslo, any tips on putting the new one in?
