There are cheaper ways to ship cars . . .
Here's a question, I can't tell from all the
government web sites if it is mandatory to work with a
certified importer or if a plain old citizen like
myself can tackle this. Web sites seem to suggest that
you MUST work through a certified importer, but would
the 25 year old cars be exempt from this? Anybody have
a definative answer?

Needless to say, it would be wise to get all your
