which exhaust manifold to use???

You are better off, without an O2 fitting in the exhaust manifold,
because then it won't crack as easy.
I had a pin hole on the heater hose on my '83 GTI, it sprayed on the
exhaust manifold and cracked it from the 6 bolt flange, through to the O2
fitting.

&nbsp; What kind of downpipe is best???

Techtonics, and you can get them with and without the O2 fitting.
