Sub-$150 stereo recommendations?

Unfortunately they aren't what they used to be...  IMO they are midrange units
overall with decent specs.  A good unit for the money.  I researched head units
last year after being out of the loop for 6-7 years, and was dissapointed to
find that Blaupunkt did not match up to the higher end Japanese units.  If you
are a big radio listener BP's are nice because of they have a digital tuner. 
The "Digiceiver" converts the analog signal to digital for better sound quality
and reception.

Unless you are planning on installing a complete system down the road a high
end unit would be overkill IMO.
