More coilover stuff

hey all,

Got no love on the rate question, so here is another couple... 

a) can 8" springs work on either end, i have a source of used eights.
b) does anyone have any used 7" springs they would sell cheap? prefer a
pair in the 325ish range and another in the 250ish range, but beggars cant
be choosers...
