[Mk1gti] Nitrous anyone?

It largely depends on how you inject the nitrous and how you manage the
engine's functions in general. If you're going to use a sandwich plate up at
the throttlebody and not provide any ignition retard, then the most that I'd
go with is say... 25hp or so. Then again, if you're planning on doing it
"right" with a multi-port system and some decent engine control, then you
could surely get away with a lot more.

I'm building my own wet multiport system for my 16v (standard pistons
w/thermal barrier coating) and am running the whole thing with TEC-II. I'll
probably limit the flow to about a 50 shot on pump gas and maybe 75 at the
strip. This might even be a little bit "conservative", but that makes me
feel just a little bit more secure about it all.
