My experiences pleading innocent to non-moving violations here in missouri
is as follows:
first time i plead innocent to a parking ticket, I prepared an argument,
the judge just dismissed every parking ticket at the beginning of court,
didn't even call everyone individually. Dismissd, no charge.
Second time, parking ticket, again, didn't even have to
explain. Dismissed, no charge.
Didnt have my insurance card with me when pulled over, just had to show
the judge an insurnace card that shows i was insured for that
period. Dismissed, court costs asessed.
Fix it ticket, the one time i had one of these, i took in some paperwork
saying i had bought parts to fix it, dismissed, court costs asessed.
Basically if you bring in paperwork showing you did something, and seem
responsible to the judge, they will probably work with you.
take care,
Steve
