I'm using my 168K BTU propane barrel heater (work tool) in my garage. The
problem with that is there needs to be 6' clear around it and nothing above
it to the ceiling. Besides it is a whole house heater and way to much for
the garage. I have a nice 35K BTU wall propane unit (job take out) that has
yet to be installed. The problem with this one is that it is a passive
circulator and would take forever to bring the garage up to temp. What I
want and haven't been able to find (used take out type of deal) is a propane
forced hot air unit in the 50K BTU range. This would be able to come up to
temp quickly so I could get right to work. Might even allow me to utilize a
few week nights rather than sitting here.
