Air Compressor - what to buy? now "Most Useful Tool"
My goal is a waste oil furnace. The farm equipment produces great amounts
of the stuff every drain, and it tends to accumulate in large quantities.
The shed is 40X60, with 24' cemented. I was originally planning on
walling off the cemented portion and insulating it, but now I figure
that's to small to be of use, so I'm just going to cement the remainder
and heat the whole damned thing with a big furnace.
The only downside is the waste oil furnaces are a bit dear, so it's going
to have to wait a year or two, although there is a used one in the paper
that may warrant a visit.
We just acquired a 20 ton press frame to go with the wire feed welder, air
compresser etc. I would like to supplement the ensemble with a good heavy
stick welder (220v) and gas torches so I don't have to keep borrowing my
father-in-law's. Then all I would need is a workbench so I don't have to
use the stake box on the back of the 78 Chev... :)
