Gas Tank Recall HELP!!!

Oh-oh...

Well, they're pulling my car up by VIN. Is it possible that my car might be an early 87 and not have the recall? 

I just called another dealer after getting off the phone with VWoA (who didn't find anything), and they said that the recalls are 2 digit (letter) codes. They also only found the PC Intank Fuel Pump recall, but not the tank. Anyone know the code?

Make sure that they're actually looking up for an '87 and not an '86 ('86
had NO gas tank recall even though it had the same problem).  It cost me big
bucks to replace the tank in my '86.
