Small victories

1: I decided to try and cure my extra-slow crank problems with my '81 
this weekend.  I figured it was either a) slowly-going-bad starter, and 
I'ld be stranded somewhere, or b) bad connections at the starter (I 
figured a bad ground, very slow cranking, no matter how cold or warm it 
was, and at night, I'd get pretty low voltage with my head lights on 
[appx 12-12.5v]).  So I borrowed my buddys diesel starter off his truck, 
pulled my starter, took a Dremel with a grinder bit to all the 
connections (extra rusty and nasty), put 'er in, and now she purrs to a 
start every time!!

2: Last week I found a copy of Madden 2003 for XBOX in my gutter.  Not 
in happy shape, but I'm sure still playable. Put it on eBay, starting 
bid was $.99, sold for $26.01!!

3: Went to the Packer game on Sunday, and all was good!  Good weather, 
good fans, good beer, and a good win!!

4:  My boss had our first ever Christmas party tonight, got very full on 
his account!!

Now if I could just get that damn '84 running long enough to actually 
drive it.....
