If I ever got my Passat running again it will be time to fix the
Transmission....yeah the real fix it a 5 speed but for now I need to get the
kickdown/throttle position circuitry working. Currently the tranny only
shifts based on speed, which I guess is the default process when it is not
sensing throttle position. This is actually fine most of the time since the
majority of my driving is Highways...but when I am going 55 at 2500 RPM it
starts to suck
...anyway the car has the updated throttle body and I have not yet done much
to determine the problem. Is the lack of kickdown the same problem as the
inability to shift according to throttle position?
thanks for the help
