Is this possible as my problem?

Here is my thought. You are either losing spark or fuel. Fuel pump =
relay would be my first thought. Dizzy pick up (aka Hall sender) inside =
the dizzy would be my second guess. Is there oil inside your dizzy cap? =
Better yet,... is the black plug on the dizzy dangling around outside =
its little "slot"? Last thought,.. which is what happened to my black =
16v,... the fuel box(ecu) was crapping out once it got warm .... =
replaced it and never had the problem again.
Let us know what else you find..

Larry, did it work afterwords, though? Once I came to a stop, she =
fired right back up and ran fine for a few minutes, then went back into =
the usual limp-mode.
As for the knock sensor, new knock sensor, cleaned connections, =
swapped knock box from a different 16V... no fixes.
So, although it sounds like the knock system, everything there is ok. =
The only thing I need to confirm is that if there was a problem with =
fuel, would it pull timing, or just stutter/stall?

Fuel pump relay? This same thing happened to the MkI the second day =

My 16V, which likes to run in limp-mode most of the time, took a =
