Valid observation for turbo-charged gas engine.  Mine is a diesel - 
atlhough I will gain off-the line, performance at highway speeds may 
suffer too greatly.  I expect to be in the 80hp/120lb-ft ballpark with an 
intercooler.  I like the wide ratio gearbox I have now from 3rd up, but 
1st and 2nd are too low for anything more than getting rolling.  Boost 
starts coming on at 1500 and I can hit 12 psi at 2400 rpm if I'm really 
into it, but I'm concerned that going to the 3.67 may be giving up too 
much at highway speeds in 4th and 5th.

On the plus side, I'll try it, and if I don't like it, I'll drop the old 
gearbox back in.
