Hi everyone again,

A big thank you at Julie, Allyn & Daun for all the advice, it turns out i=
t was the fuel pressure screen, about half of it was blocked by what look=
ed like pine needles :(

The car is running like a dream now, we even took it on a racetrack later=
 that night :)

Julie, I'm in Northern Ireland, it looks like most of the list is America=
n based. Are there many Irish people on it?

Best wishes,

Louise

Welcome to the list Louise! Nice to have another girl around :)
You could try several things.
1) Fuel pump (done)
2) Fuel Filter (drivers side eng comp)
3) Fuel Pressure regulator (On the front of the engine - 2 fuel lines run=
to it) 6mm allen key bolts hold it on.. Clean the small screen behind th=
e incoming fuel line.

Also Where are you? There might be a lister near by that can come out and=
 look.

Good luck!
