Well, I'm glad to communicate that the motor is finally running. A big
thanks to everyone who provided me with very helpful pointers.
Now on to the bad news. The motor is blown. Well, I did a compression test
today after white smoke came pouring out of the tailpipe and oil poured out
of the air filter box and came up with the following results.
Cylinder 1: 210 PSI
Cylinder 2: 185 PSI
Cylinder 3: 30 PSI (if that)
Cylinder 4: 200 PSI
What do these numbers tell me? I'm SOL arent' I?
Is there a way I can determine if it's the valves or the pistons? I don't
think that the headgasket is shot although if I have to pull the head, it
seems like I'll need to replace that anyways.
Any other suggestions?
