Tire Shelf Life

Hi all,

	How long can a pair of tires be stored without degrading?  I'm going to
need tires in the next 4-6 months or so.  TireRack is selling AVS
Intermediates for cheap on closeout.  I'm thinking I'll pick a set up and
put them in my garage until the SP8000s need to be removed.  But, if the
AVSs are going to loose their integrity (dry out, harden, etc.), I don't
want to waste the money.  Any data/experiences on storing tires?
