Brit cars are legendary for electrical system problems. Jaguar XJs
were known as "The Prince of Darkness" for total system shutdowns at
inopportune moments. Also some believe that anyone who actually
*drove* one had to have at least two, since anyone who owned a Jag was
obliged to keep one car in the shop at all times.
