moving coolant tank q's.

Has anyone used one of the a3 spherical coolant expansion tanks
in a different location than stock, or at all on a mk2 16v?  I need to move 
it out of the way to clear a g60 throttle body.

Or if anyone has any other suggestions I'm open.
