16V alternator question again HELP !

I checked at one FLAPS and they brought me a "Tube" type with a non-A/C
pulley and swore it was for an A/C 16v car. That was advanced Auto. It was
also some bastard brand that looked like crap (are non-A/C pulleys always
sheetmetal?).
