spring, spring, everywhere a spring
Those shocks blew out because you lowered the car without getting shorter
shocks. Internally they are bottoming out and crushing some internal
valving. Buy shorter shocks that are designed to run at a length of travel
comparable to the new spring length. Properly fitted shock length will give
you good long service life regardless of the tire/wheel combination.
