Headlight shield (was RE: Euro high beams?)

That's why the first thing you do to the nice Eurolights is add
headlight shield. There is an adhesive backed vinyl (3M??) that is
marketed for protecting headlights.  I've been using it for 5+ years
without a problem.  The only chip on my lights is where the shield
didn't cover.
