H&R G Springs
Suspesion question
I just ordered a pair of the G Springs from potter's blowout page. He says
they're linear, not progressive. So I guess they'll be kind of harsh. I
want my rocco to be really, really low. I'm looking for a 3" drop up front,
without bottoming out. So I know I need it to be freakin stiff. He got me
into an A2 Spring, since they're shorter and will offer me a slight drop to
begin with. All he had in an A1 spring was 550lb, which sounds a bit heavy
for me so I went with the 420Lb A2 spring instead. To try to help against
bottoming out, I've done a lot of weight reduction up front. I moved my
battery back into the wheel well, and gutted the metal out of my euro
bumper.
My question (finally) is this: What kind of shock should I get to dampen
these springs? I don't have a huge budget but I want something that will
handle being slammed for a few years. Also, I ordered some new upper strut
mounts at the same time, is there anything else I should do?
Thanks gurus
